What the model can show.

The buildings come from Vienna’s official LOD1.4 model. The calculation considers building footprints, courtyards, upper elevations and available lower elevations of overhanging structures. It calculates within the loaded area of approximately 350 m around the point. Higher or more distant obstacles may be missing.

Terrain at the observation point is approximated from the nearest building model. Trees, exact roof shapes, balconies and windows are not represented. The displayed ground shadows are simplified onto flat surfaces and truncated at 400 m. This is neither a calculation of an apartment’s brightness nor a sunlight assessment certificate.
